1. Keep cleaning supplies safe
Cleaning tools can be a game changer when it comes to keeping your house clean, and they're a lazy girl's favorite cleaning trick.
Keep a small book of cleaning supplies in every center of your home.
You don't need your entire laundry library in every room. Your cleaning kit can be as simple as a packet of antibacterial wipes and a microfiber cloth to pick up small dirt.
These little ones are so handy that you can even catch your spouse or kids cleaning thanks to the tools inside. They also make it easy to "drop off" friends when you need to clean up quickly.
I still clean the dishes in my kitchen and two bathrooms. I have a pack of antibacterial wipes, a spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide, and a small microfiber cloth. All my other cleaning supplies and products are in my laundry room.
2. Remove food stains from plastic using hydrogen peroxide.
Did the spaghetti sauce turn the inside of the plastic container an unpleasant orange color?
Rinse the plastic bag dipped in hydrogen peroxide, then soak it in the sun for a day. Peroxide and sunlight "bleach" stains without harmful chemicals.
You can do the same with your plastic cutting board.

6. Remove stains from oil-based fabrics with Dawn and baking soda.
Have you ever picked up your favorite black blouse and noticed a black stain on the front, then remembered that nasty piece of shrimp that didn't make it into your mouth?

Place a drop of Dawn on the stain, rub in and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Brush your nails, let them sit for 15 minutes, then rinse and rinse as usual.
